Your support hours can be used for most WordPress-related work, including troubleshooting errors, fixing broken layouts, plugin configuration, website updates, performance improvements, security checks, content changes, form issues and general technical assistance.

Website development, custom functionality, substantial design work, SEO, strategy and consulting are billed separately at my standard rate of $175 per hour.

Website support packages do not cover:

• Search engine optimisation
• SEO audits or strategy
• Custom WordPress development
• Custom PHP, JavaScript or API integrations
• New website sections or complex page builds
• Major design or structural changes
• Conversion strategy
• Analytics configuration or consulting
• Website rebuilds
• Emergency after-hours assistance

Yes. I regularly work on existing WordPress websites built by other developers or agencies.

I’ll first assess how the website has been constructed and whether there are any technical issues that could affect the requested work. Poorly built, outdated or heavily customised websites may require development work charged at my standard hourly rate.

Time is tracked by the minute, so you only use the time actually spent working on your website.

This avoids receiving a separate invoice or minimum charge every time you need a minor update completed. When your balance reaches approximately one hour, I’ll let you know so you can decide whether to purchase another support block.

Website support hours remain valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

You can use them as required throughout that period rather than needing to submit all your work at once.

Possibly. Some hosting providers retain suspended accounts or backups for a limited period after a service expires.

If no backup is available, it may still be possible to recover portions of the website from archived versions, cached pages or other existing assets. Complete recovery cannot be guaranteed, so it is important to contact me as soon as possible.

In many cases, yes. I can investigate the breach, remove malicious files, restore affected website functionality and improve the website’s security.

The time required will depend on the extent of the infection, the condition of the website and whether a clean backup is available. Severely compromised websites may require more work than the remaining balance in an existing support package.

Most standard support requests are scheduled as soon as practical, depending on the urgency of the issue and my existing workload.

Please include as much information as possible when submitting your request, including screenshots, error messages and the page affected. This allows me to diagnose the problem more efficiently.

Urgent assistance may be available for critical issues such as a website outage, security breach, broken checkout or inaccessible administration area.

Emergency work is subject to availability. Contact me directly with details of the issue so I can assess the situation and advise what can be done.

The access required depends on the task. This may include:

• WordPress administrator access
• Website hosting or cPanel access
• Domain or DNS access
• Cloudflare access
• Relevant plugin or third-party platform accounts

Only provide access through a secure method. Access details should not be sent through unsecured public messages or social media.

I’ll let you know before exceeding your available support balance wherever reasonably possible.

You can then purchase another block of support hours or request a separate quote if the work has developed into a larger project.

Support hours can be used for minor changes to existing designs, such as adjusting text, images, spacing or an existing page component.

New sections, landing pages, templates, substantial responsive work or broader design changes are considered website development and are billed at my standard rate of $175 per hour.

No. SEO work is not included in the discounted website support packages.

Technical SEO, on-page optimisation, keyword research, schema implementation, analytics, content strategy and ongoing SEO work are billed separately at my SEO rate of $175 per hour.

Some requests may initially appear to be routine support but require custom development or more substantial technical work once investigated.

If this occurs, I’ll explain what is required before proceeding. The additional work can then be billed at my standard rate of $175 per hour or quoted as a separate project.

No. Website support packages cover my time only.

Paid plugins, software licences, hosting upgrades, subscriptions and other third-party expenses are additional. I’ll discuss any required purchases with you before proceeding.
